 SUBJECT: Amendment of BSP Circular No. 935, dated 28 December 2016 - Extension of the deadline for the exchange or replacement of New Design Series (NDS) banknotes with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and its authorized agent banks and financial institutions at par with New Generation Currency banknotes and without charge, from 31 March 2017 to 30 June 2017

 

The Monetary Board, in its Resolution No. 442 dated 16 March 2017, decided to extend the deadline for the exchange or replacement of New Design Series (NDS) banknotes with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and its authorized agent banks and financial institutions at par with New Generation Currency banknotes and without charge, from 31 March 2017 to 30 June 2017.

 This recent decision of the Monetary Board amends BSP Circular No.  935 dated 28 December 2016.

 

This Circular shall be effective immediately.
