2x2's Cardboard Coin Holder

An inexpensive type of coin holder for holding a coin individually where you put a coin in the cardboard with plastic then fold it in halves and have it stapled. When using this type of holder, make sure to flatten the staple wire so as not to damage other coins when stocking it together. Also, don't use regular staple wire, it rust overtime. Use corrosion resistant staple wire like stainless or copper based staple wire.

Some brand offers a self-sealing type that when you fold it seals the edge completely thus air cannot pass through. Just make sure you are buying the one that uses 100% acid-free adhesive. Just be extra careful when putting the coin so as not to touch the adhesive. When using this type of holder, check it regularly because overtime the adhesive will wear and opening the 2x2 cardboard.

Word of advice is use only Mylar or Polyester Film type and avoid (PVC) polyvinyl chloride as it is known to damage coin.
